Apply for a neighborhood purpose grant.

We want to help you improve our community.

 

501(c)3 nonprofits and public schools are encouraged to submit Neighborhood Purpose Grant (NPG) applications for projects that provide community benefit for MCW stakeholders. Applicants may apply for awards of up to $2,500. Selected projects may range from seed funding to start a community garden, local beautification activities, or neighborhood resource fairs within Mid City West boundaries (for a map of MCW click here). 


Completed applications must include the following:

  1. NPG Application with project budget, completed and signed

  2. Nonprofit applicants must submit organization's IRS Letter of Determination

  3. Public school applicants must also submit a letter on school letterhead signed by the Principal

  4. MCW Application Addendum, the form is below

NPG Applications are due by the 15th of each month and will be reviewed according to this rubric on a monthly basis by the MCWNC Executive Council. Nonprofits can submit applications more than once but will only be eligible for funding once during the NPG cycle (June 30 – July 1). 

After completing steps #1-3 above and emailing the materials to executive@midcitywest.org, complete the form below. Your application is complete when you do all four steps.
