MCWCC Arts and Recreation Committee


The Arts and Recreation Committee promotes and supports the visual and performing arts & recreational venues by identifying the participating organizations, supporting their community outreach, and ensuring their long term viability as stakeholders.

Our committee is thoroughly dedicated to supporting and building community partnerships; embracing all forms of art (visual, performing, literary, public, auditory, experimental, historical, etc.) in a culturally diverse population, within the jurisdiction of the Mid City West Community Council boundaries.

The Arts & Recreation Committee normally meets prior to the monthly Mid City West Community Council Board Meetings.
