MCWCC Open Statement on Recent Events in Charlottesville, Virginia

MID CITY WEST COMMUNITY COUNCIL OPEN STATEMENT ON RECENT EVENTS IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA

September 12, 2017

In response to the recent events of August 2017 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Mid City West Community Council (MCWCC) rejects and denounces all acts of hate and violence and further affirms our commitment to promoting inclusivity of people with or without disabilities and of all ages, races, ethnicities, colors, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, creeds, national origins, and backgrounds.

MCWCC serves a vibrant and incredibly diverse community and it remains steadfastly committed to respecting all the people it serves, honoring its diversity, building a safe and peaceful community, forging bonds with its neighboring communities, and promoting participation in city governance in the City of Los Angeles.
