Sundays Live at LACMA: Violinist Yueun Kim and Pianist Sung Chang

Violinist Yueun Kim and Pianist Sung Chang perform Saint-Saëns: “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso”; Schumann: “Violin Sonata No.1 in A minor, op. 105”; Szymanowski: “Mythes, op.30”; Corigliano: “Violin Sonata.”

Violinist Yueun Kim began her studies in Korea and graduated from Seoul National University before coming to the United States to attend USC’s Thornton School of Music, where she received her graduate certificate studying under Midori Goto. Concertmaster of the USC Symphony, Kim was a semifinalist in the Buenos Aires International Violin Competition and won both the concerto and Bach competitions at USC in 2014. She was the winner of the 2015 Sundays Live Auditions.
