Pianist Rodolfo Leone performs Beethoven: “Piano Sonata op.53 ‘Waldstein'” (25′); Chopin: “Polonaise op.44” (10′); and Chopin: “Polonaise-Fantasy op.61” (12’).
A native of Turin, Italy, Leone made his orchestral debut in 2013 performing Rachmaninov’s “Piano Concerto No. 3” with the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento (Italy). Leone then made his North American debut in 2014 performing Liszt’s “Piano Concerto No. 1” with the Toronto Concert Orchestra. He has also performed the Liszt concert at Los Angeles’s Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Colburn Orchestra and conductor Stéphane Denève.
Leone holds a Masters of Music degree from the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, where he continues to study with Fabio Bidini as an Artist Diploma candidate. He studied at the Hans Eisler School of Music in Berlin, Germany and at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, Italy.
