On September 23rd, John Coltrane would have celebrated his 92nd birthday. Trane Stories celebrates the music of John Coltrane with lyric, poetry, and spoken word as well as his music. The group consists of Dwight Trible (Vocals, poetry and spoken word), Teodross Avery (Tenor and Soprano Saxophones), Theo Saunders (piano), Henry Franklin (Bass) and Marvin “Smitty” Smith (Drums).
