Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians! Jazz at LACMA is presented Friday evenings from April to November.
Vocalist Paulette McWilliams’s diverse career has taken her from featured soloist with the Bob Mintzer Big Band and Scott Healy Big Band to backing Aretha Franklin for her #1 hit “Jump to It” and Luther Vandross’s “Stop to Love.” She has also sung for film soundtracks, TV, and commercials including Folgers Coffee, McDonalds, and Mercedes. For her latest recording, she worked with three-time Grammy Award winner Kamau Kenyatta, producer for Gregory Porter.
