Miracle Mile Art Walk

Location: The April host is ACME Gallery, #20, 6150 Wilshire Blvd.
More than 35 art galleries and art museums participate in the “Miracle
Mile Art Walk” held on the third Saturday of each month. A specific
group of those galleries is featured each month. April spotlights the
Wilshire area venues near LACMA.
Reception
and Artist Lecture: The April host is ACME Gallery, #20,
6150 Wilshire Blvd. An artist lecture and opening reception will be
held at 2 p.m. The reception will be generously donated by Bulan Thai
Vegetarian Kitchen (restaurant located at 7168 Melrose Avenue, LA
90046.). Balloons will identify the gallery.
Free
guided tour: A special tour of additional galleries is
available following the opening reception at the host gallery. There
will be an introduction to each gallery and exhibit. Transportation
will be provided by the Holly Trolley. Art walkers may also walk or

After
Party: An after party for art walkers will be held at
Busby’s Cantina, 5364 Wilshire Blvd., with music and art from 6:30-8:30
p.m.
The Holly Trolley shuttle, courtesy
of Councilmen Tom La Bonge and Jack Weiss, will make a continuous loop
stopping near galleries (look for balloons locating the trolley stops),
beginning at 1 p.m. at the Mark Selwyn Gallery #19, 6222 Wilshire Blvd,

Some galleries
may be closed due to scheduling conflicts. A map of the galleries and
bus stops will be available at each gallery.
